Weston McKennie and Tim Weah played for Juventus in today’s Coppa Italia semifinal second leg against Lazio. Although Juve lost 2-1 on the night, they are through to the final on aggregate since they won 2-0 in the first leg. McKennie started the game and got substituted in the 80th minute. Weah came on in the 70th minute and assisted Juve’s only goal of the night. They were down 2-0 and it looked like the game was about to go into extra time, until Weah found Arkadiusz Milik in the box. Lazio’s two goals were scored by former MLS player Taty Castellanos, who’s from Argentina and spent four years in NYCFC. Juve will take on the winner of Atalanta and Fiorentina in the final.
