With mental health being a prevalent, yet taboo conversation still lurking on college campuses, we as cuboulderceb wanted to bring this conversation to light and host kevinhinesstory, who is not only an open and active advocate for mental health and suicide awareness, but also a best-selling author and documentary filmmaker who’s reached millions with his inspiring personal story of unlikely survival after attempting suicide at age 19 off of the Golden Gate Bridge. Kevin spreads encouraging messages about living mentally healthy and the importance of seeking help and support during times of crisis. We will be hosting both a SCREENING for Kevin’s movie, “Suicide: A Ripple Effect,” as well as having him personally here on campus for a DISCUSSION AND Q&A as well as a BOOK SIGNING following the event!
