The Cultural Events Board would like to cordially invite you to An Evening with Valarie Kaur: Sikh American and Interfaith National Leader, award-winning documentary filmmaker, and civil rights lawyer on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 7pm in the University Memorial Center Glenn Miller Ballroom. It will be a free event for CU-Boulder students and community members. Valarie Kaur is widely recognized for her award-winning films and numerous multimedia campaigns that shine light on a wide range of social issues including hate crimes against Sikh and Muslim Americans, racial profiling, and gun violence.
