Opening day at the Syracuse Mets (syracusemets) freshly renovated NBT Bank Stadium. The AAA game against the Scranton Rail Riders hosted 2,500 fans and was the largest scheduled gathering in Onondaga County, New York since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking to fans, most echoed the same emotions. While the renovations to the new ballpark were an improvement to stadium atmosphere, the best part about the opening game was the slight feeling of normalcy returning to the ballpark. #syracuse #syracusemets #baseball
