Danielle Hunter was reportedly absent from OTA’s today. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but it does raise concerns regarding his future in Minnesota. Hunter is about as good as it comes for an edge rusher, and we missed him in a big way last year. But after a year away from football, it puts us in a tough position, as he clearly wants to be PAID. If I’m Rick, I’m waiting to see if he gets back to pre-injury form. If he does, we reward him with one of the biggest contracts in the league at his position.
