The #vikings are in a great position in my personal opinion sitting at pick #14 of the 2021 NFL Draft. The way that things sit right now, I believe Rashawn Slater will be gone by 14 leaving us with Darrisaw & Vera-Tucker as the best Tackles available. If Slater is available, he is the no brainer pick here. Jaelan Phillips is an EDGE out of Miami with eye-popping measurables & a knack for pressuring the QB. The Vikings will also entertain opportunities to both Trade up, and Trade back. If we elect to trade up, it’ll be to go get Oregon OT Penei Sewell. Sewell is a generational talent that would SECURE the edge of our OL for the next 10+ years. If we elect to trade down, I could see a team like Washington coming in for a QB that may happen to fall into our position. Washington is a team with multiple needs so if they see someone they like, Rick may wheel and deal his way to a 2nd or 3rd round pick in exchange for the 14th.
