After taking a while to reflect & evaluate on what was a disappointing loss, I’ve been trying to focus on the positives that came from this game. There is a lot of work to be done, but the season is FAR from over! Here’s some of our notes from Week 1 📝 -Cam Dantzler starts, takes majority of reps at CB. Showed promising aggression, needs to finish open field tackles. Was in the right place a few times, just needs to make a play on the ball. -Jaleel Johnson was a pleasant surprise and played hard all game. -Rough open field tackling at times -Bradbury looks stronger/more adjusted to speed of the game -Defense with a few good goal line stands early.... other than that could not throw 12 off of his rhythm. -ZERO pressure from the Defensive Front. -Was confused as to why our CB’s man coverage was so soft most of the game (10 yds off) (easy 10 yd outs) -Questionable play calling at times.
