Throwback Thursday: 🧱 The Williams Wall _ Growing up, Fat Pat and Kevin Williams were my favorite players on the defensive side. These guys truly shut off access in the middle, and were incredible to watch. At a combined 628 pounds, it’s no wonder why teams couldn’t get the ball moving on the ground against us. In 2006-2008, they were each selected as first team all pro defensive tackles, and made the pro bowl. Throughout the 2006 season, opposing teams averaged just 61 rushing yards per game against us!!! Absolutely remarkable. The tandem was just as fun off the field as on the field, and the two were very close friends.
