There’s a lot of hype around 3rd Round pick Cameron Dantzler and for good reason. Dantzler’s nickname “The Needle” in his own words, was given to him because “I was always skinny, and when I hit you, it hurt”. He allowed only 36(!) catches in college on 568 pass coverage snaps & hauled in 5 picks as well. The Mississippi State product was a nightmare for LSU’s historic offense and put the clamps on Ja’Marr Chase better than anyone had during the entire season. The Needle has excellent timing on CB blitzes & shows no fear tackling larger opponents.
