The iconic “Alley of the Flags” adorns the entrance to the Palais des Nations, home to ungeneva, in #Switzerland. Wednesday is the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace. Amid a range of new and emerging challenges, the need for global cooperation and reinvigorated multilateralism is more important than ever. As the world's only truly universal global organization, the United Nations helps address issues that cannot be resolved by any one country acting alone. Every day, the UN works to make a difference in the lives of everyone, everywhere, by... 🤝 helping people forced to flee 🍚 providing food & nutrition 🕊️ promoting peace & human rights ♻️ taking #ClimateAction and much more. 📷: UN Photo / Jean-Marc Ferré #DiplomacyDay
