Today is #InternationalDenimDay. As leaders, it is important to create an environment of advocacy and support for victims of sexual assault and to create an environment of sexual assault prevention education. Today, the Corps is participating in Denim Day to stand in solidarity with those who have experienced sexual violence. This week, cadets have taken part in training sessions on myth busting, present-day sexual assault statistics, reporting tools, and methods to support victims of sexual violence. On April 19, the Department of Defense recognized April as a call to action for service members to advance meaningful change in preventing and responding to sexual violence.
