It is Legacy Weekend here in Vail as we remember the 77th Anniversary of the Battle of Riva Ridge that began February 18th, 1945. The Celebration kicks off coloradosnowsportsmuseum today with Tales of the 10th at 4 pm. David Little, the leading 10th Mountain Division historian, will be presenting the untold stories of the 10th. Following the presentation, vail_resorts and vailgov will celebrate the mountain soldiers' legacy with a torchlight ski down and Parade. After the Parade, it will be time for a 10th Mountain Whiskey Cocktail at our Vail Tasting Room.
