Two years ago we had this barrel signed by all of the participating Veterans of the winter vailveterans program. Then they helped us distill the whiskey we aged in the barrel. A few days ago some Vets from the program joined us at the distillery to harvest the barrel and bottle the whiskey. We're donating all of the bottles from the barrel to the Vail Veterans Program. Each Vet that signed the barrel that night gets a bottle and the remaining bottles are donated to the program to use as they wish; fundraisers, parties, donor gifts, silent auctions, etc. In total, it's about 250 bottles. The Vail Veterans Program will get the signed barrel head as a keepsake to display in their office. Vail Vets is an amazing organization that were proud to support.
