HEY HEARTLAND! What an incredible weekend to be together as a family Heartland. We heard a powerful teaching from justinmcroberts on the importance of being creative with what God has given us, and allowing ourselves to both celebrate and lament in moments he walks through with us. It truly is what you make of it. We also took a moment to mark the monumental service of two faithful servants who have given to Heartland over the years. Two of Heartland’s favorite and most faithful people, Tom and Sue Brawner. Through 28 years they have been an anchor in our church family. Tom is someone who is always after the heart of God, and making sure that those who may be farthest from God would know him deeply. He never lets the moment pass to show people what God is doing and how he is at work. Disciplining and ministering to people in ways that embody a true shepherd, scattering and sowing seeds that have and will come to life. #faithful #hcc #hccks
