We long for something deeper than the shallow waters that surround us. We are offered regeneration and renewal by the power of the Holy Spirit. Not by striving, but by soaking. We cannot do it on our own. We were made to be filled by the one who emptied himself. Lord, open up our hearts that we may draw near and soak in your goodness.
