Samoa, who are ranked 16th nationally, had a great start but were overcome by Tonga who roll into the final round undefeated. Tonga will enter as the top ranked team into the PacificAus Sports netball final. Peti Talanoa had some great touches in GK, forcing Samoa into attack changes and support from Valu Toutaiolepo (GD) and Lucia Fauonuku (WD). Tonga also displayed great shooting power at 94% accuracy, only missing 4 goals for the match. Jessica Laga'aia got the start at C for Samoa going toe to toe with Tongan captain Hulita Veve. Eseta Autagavaia also shook off an injury concern to play out the match at GA and provide a level head in the attacking third.
