During the day I traveled around the city. It is a pretty large city but public transportation was very easy to figure out. The city is filled with shopping and businesses. It is extremely foreigner-friendly. Most signs of transportation are in English and Japanese. The ticket machines for the metro have a button for English so students looking to get passes would be very easy. 🌏🍃⠀
⠀
Students looking to go abroad for a semester or academic year would find that there are many attractions such as the Nagoya Castle, the Osu Kannon shrine and the Osu Shopping District. During the breaks and holidays, students have easy access to nearby cities and historic towns. And the campus is a 2-hour train ride to Tokyo! 🚊⠀
