Transcript: Hi everyone, my name is Josh Massey. I'm a senior studying Computer Engineering and currently the President of the Student Government Association at UMBC. So, what makes UMBC great for me is that it's truly a home away from home. A community where I can actively contribute. One of the things I've experienced in my various positions is that when we try to have difficult conversations over phone or text messages it can be difficult to truly understand where that other person is coming from. How I employ Restorative Practices every day is really trying to have more difficult and challenging conversations with many different members of our community and with people beyond our community.
