Squeezed inside the entry of a residential building in Astoria, @ramronyc is a little restaurant with big dreams. Their $99 tasting menu blew up recently, but we’d recommend starting out at their Friday or Sunday Happy Hour, with shochu and sake cocktails, duck confit momos, juicy longannisa, and other exciting food that draws from the staff’s Nepali and Filipino roots.
