For every one rodeo performance, there are hours upon hours of unseen work done beforehand to prepare for a show.
.
An announcer takes his time doing research; on the rodeo's history, its sponsors, its stock contractor, its contestants and so much more. Every bull, bronc, rider, roper, and wrestler, is known in some way by him before they even make it into the arena.
.
The timing of every sponsor flag and gate that is opened is orchestrated by him. You see, the work of every announcer is much more than just climbing into the stand and speaking into a microphone; that's why we are honored to welcome back greg_simas to our
#mosaicarena for the 93rd Annual Arcadia-All Florida Championship Rodeo this year. We are thankful for your service, Greg!
.
(Greg is also the voice behind our television and radio commercials this year that started airing this week--so be on the lookout for those!)
