Today, BABE VOTE students packed House Judiciary to watch Chairman Skaug reverse his ban on youth testimony. We celebrate this victory, but our work is not finished. Requiring parent permission slips to testify is still illegal and is redundant given parents must excuse students to leave school to testify. We demand legislators end this attack on student voices and #LetStudentsSpeak
