-The Play Book Chronicles- The good ole’ Wake & UNC match up; It was fun but I took this game very personal. UNC was originally my dream school as a kid, They were interested but never offered. Passed me up for two other great Running Backs “Fast Willie Parker” out of Clinton, N.C. & Nick Maddox out of Kannapolis, N.C (who ended up committing to Florida State). At the moment I was very angry about the situation, but here’s the deal... No university is obligated to offer you just because “you” are somewhat of a “star” athlete. You better humble yourself, strap it up, control what you can control & keep working at your craft so that you will not cut yourself short of other opportunities. The Process is difficult...
