1992, Nine years young; Second year playing Pop Warner Football for the Wilmington Colts. The Wilmington Colts was a Little League Football Team, based out of East Wilmington, North Carolina. The majority of the members were from East Wilmington but there were a few others that were from other parts of the city. Most of these young men were raised in single parent households, with the absence of influential guidance from a male figure. Witnessesing young black kids starving for positive structure... A few father-like, real-models, whom were well respected in the city had organized one of the most dominant & historical teams in Pop Warner history. These men did not only express how to become a champion on the turf, they also demonstrated & explained the importance of becoming young Kings... & how to win in life.
