The *lack of smile* was a reflection of what I was going through at that present moment. This photo was captured during the preseason of my senior year wakefootball In Retrospect, The first game was in 2 weeks & I was fresh out of a surgical procedure (broken foot). The medical staff ordered me to take a medical Red Shirt (sit out for the season) but I told them that I would put it into God’s hands & take my chances on playing (on a surgically repaired broken foot)... even if I had to miss a few games to recover. The mission was to eclipse the previous 1,000 yard season (after missing the first three games due to surgery), which is extremely difficult to do in the accsports . At the end of the season I was 150 yards shy of the mission but Life remains beautiful, regardless. This post is sports related but it also applies to Life.
