Christmas in Downtown Tucson 🎄
•
I had an assignment a few days ago that ended up being tougher than I thought it was...
•
The assignment was to photograph Christmas in Downtown Tucson. Easy enough right? It’s Christmas season.
•
Boy was I wrong. Not much was happening and not many stores had any eye-catching decorations- I saw one. Which made for a hard assignment.
•
However, part of being a photographer is making a photo out of what seems to be nothing.
•
I was about to give up before I walked into Jácome plaza and saw an opportunity with the Christmas tree. That’s when this shot hit me!
•
The reflection of Downtown Tucson shows in a silver ornament on a Christmas tree in Jácome Plaza.
•
I may have only got one image from my 4 hours in Downtown Tucson but it’s an image that represents “making something out of nothing”! (Which is what I have been trying to get better at!)
•
Merry “early” Christmas insta family!
