Every day officers are dispatched to emergency calls that require a rapid response. Training is the key to getting there safely. Here is a look at one of the trainings we do every two years as part of our curriculum. All officers must complete the timed course in under a minute. The course includes multiple lane evasion exercises in addition to a serpentine, constant left and right radius turns as well as an emergency backing box.
