Today is #PeaceOfficersMemorialDay. This day looked a little different for us this year. We were honored to be with Sgt. Tobar’s family and hundreds of other families as 619 names were remembered for paying the ultimate sacrifice. We attended the FOP’s 41st Annual National Peace Officer’s Memorial Service at the United States Capitol. We thank Melbourne Police Department for sending members of their Honor Guard Team to honor Sgt. Tobar as well. While there, we came across Zechariah from Running 4 Heroes Inc. Zechariah runs one mile for every First Responder who makes the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. He wants to honor those who gave up their life so we may live in a better world.
