To help protect the health of students and the Davis community campus issued guidance for Thanksgiving travel for students currently residing in Davis. Travel and Stay Students who choose to leave Davis and travel for Thanksgiving will be expected to be tested at the campus testing kiosk prior to leaving Davis. If students leave for Thanksgiving, they are encouraged, if possible, to remain away for the remainder of fall quarter and continue their learning remotely at least until the start of winter quarter. Travel and Return Students returning to Davis after Thanksgiving will be expected to be tested at the campus testing kiosk within seven days of their return (but no later than Sunday, Dec. 6). Out of State Travel The Yolo County Public Health recommends that any person returning to Yolo County after travel to a higher-risk area outside of California should shelter in their place of residence for 14 days upon their return.
