Continuing to celebrate #NationalParkWeek by wishing a happy birthday to ChannelIslandsNP! Established as Channel Islands National Park in 1980, this park includes a marine sanctuary that protects six nautical miles of water around the park itself. #Throwback to when we went to Channel Islands in June of 2023! We partnered with National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, NOAA Fisheries, NOAA’s Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, and Reel Guppy Outdoors to engage military-connected families from the Ventura County, CA area for a day of fishing.
