University faculty, politicians and student organizers gathered at UT Austin’s Main Mall Thursday afternoon, following the arrest of over 50 individuals during a pro-Palestine protest Wednesday. Organizers called for the Austin Police Department to drop charges against those arrested. Additionally, they called for the resignation of UT President Jay Hartzell.
