On the verge of the 2024 London Mayoral elections, longstanding questions over voter fraud have again been thrust firmly back into the spotlight, with research suggesting that two-fifths of Britons have election rigging concerns. Here in our nation’s capital, citizens have recent experience of voter fraud and its far reaching impacts, with a mayor in East London being kicked out of office in a scandal over postal votes in Tower Hamlets. Even the Electoral Commission, which regulates our elections, has admitted that police data "may not be a complete record of all activity which could involve electoral fraud offences".
