I’ve been running at Drake Relays since I was in fifth grade. This track started it all for me. My love for running started here. My ability to win World champs was created by running at the one of the largest oldest meets in The United States. And bobsled… I would never have known I was strong enough to be a Winter Olympian had I not run in the temperamental weather of The Relays. This track made me. Honored to be inducted in the hall of fame because this honor is not just for Iowans you are battling other Olympians and outstanding runners. But beyond Grateful that an Iowan will rep in the Hall of Fame. #feelinggrateful #HOF #iowa
