Haven't said anything about all the things that have been going race wise because I felt like it wasn't my place. Reading the news and everything that has been happening it's EVERYONEs place! As a white male on a predominately black basketball team I saw my black friends mistreated by white people or certain white people would say racial things to me about black people to me thinking that they were just my "teammates". What they didn't understand is these were my brothers, they looked out for me and I looked out for them there was no and ifs or buts, and we still do to this day. I also experienced us all being treated like Kings! On the other side I have seen black people that are racist or look at white people as lesser especially in the sports world.
