Quick congrats to Katelin Gildersleeve ‘23 on her dominant (>10 seconds!!) win in the W1x at USA Under-23 World Championship Trials yesterday! Last time she raced the single was in 2019 in Tokyo, Japan, where she helped the USA to its third-ever medal in the event at the Junior World Championships (fun fact: the first of those medals was won by another Stanford alumna, Lindsay Meyer Clarke in 2006!). She’s off to selection camp for the quad now, but not before taking a few runs down the course with two oars instead of one. #wru23champs #croctober
