For our final Senior Send-Off, we have one of the best leaders a team could hope for, Sophie Boyd-Fliegel. Boyd is a Seattle, Washington, native and rowed for Mt Baker Crew before joining us on the Farm. One of the toughest, hardest-working people you will ever meet, Boyd was elected Team Leader by her class all four years she was here and will be leaving this place better than she found it. In addition to her contributions to our team, Boyd was also involved with the Stanford Daily News, a student ambassador for the Bill Lane Center for the American West, an RA, a tutor for local students, and Stanford creative writing. In her free time, she loved playing music casually and putting on house concerts. Oh, and she tacked on an extra major her senior year, just because. Boyd, you are an incredible role model, teammate, student, athlete, and person, and we are so lucky to have had you around.
