So nice, we’re celebrating her twice! Next Senior Send-off is for fifth-year coterm athlete Meg “Meggles” Saunders. Megatron came to Stanford after rowing for Tideway Scullers in Great Britain 🇬🇧. Humble in stature, Meg is not to be underestimated on the machine, water, or classroom. Her watts-to-kilo ratio is superhuman and her favorite place on the Stanford campus is the pain cave (aka the last 1500m of 2x6k). Meg majored Symbolic Systems at Stanford, and we were thrilled when she decided to come back for an extra year to get her masters in Sustainability Science & Practice. She’s a 3-time U23 National Team athlete for Great Britain and was part of the silver medal-winning varsity 8 at the 2017 NCAA Championships. But more than that, she’s an incredible person & teammate. Meg, thank you for showing us what it means to work hard and race harder.
