Out of thousands of nominees, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, or Berkeley Lab’s, new website has made it to the top five finalists eligible to win the Webby Award, the “Oscars of the Internet,” according to Laurel Kellner, strategic communications project lead at Berkeley Lab. The website, which was made in partnership with the consulting firm Smith & Connors and introduced last fall, is a nominee under the Government & Associations award category, Kellner said in an email. “We’re absolutely thrilled,” Kellner said in the email. “The fact that we’ve been recognized as an official Webby Nominee is a tremendous recognition to this entire team.” Click the link in our bio to read more. 📸: Lucca Wasserman ✍️: Eleanor Jonas • • • #berkeley #cal #berkeleylab
