After I completed 2 years at Northern Virginia Community College as a student-athlete for the lacrosse team, I transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University to study Mass Communications: Broadcast/Journalism.
I was still very passionate about sports and I found a way to continue a life within the sports world through my passion for digital media.
As a practice player for the VCU Women’s basktball team, I was able to do my part in supporting the team on the court as well as documenting the team when I was off the court. This included opportunities to capture moments in practice, live-camera operating with
#VCUAthletics during home games, community events, bonding moments and more.
