Happy Friday! Meet our next #StudentsInStem feature, Batoul Saad '22, an SP2 student majoring in environmental science with a minor in chemistry. Batoul has conducted paleoclimate research at the American Museum of Natural History (amnh) for four years. For her senior thesis, she is examining structural changes of foraminifera fossils to understand how carbon dioxide was stored and ventilated in the Southern Indian Ocean from the last ice age to present day. "I love environmental science because it is an interdisciplinary science. My favorite class at Barnard has been Big Data With Python with Professor Brian Mailloux.
