What a GREAT DAY today!!! I was at a track meet to watch one of Game Changers’ athletes compete in the Trumbull County Prelims. David (d.lavelle )has been working especially hard the past couple seasons and today he achieved a Personal Record of 48.05 in the Shot Put and came in 1st! . It’s not the distance that I’m just proud of—I’m proud that he achieved something that he hadn’t done until today. He disciplined himself to not worry about beating someone else per se’, but doing his best. What a milestone! . And it only gets better—I also ran into Colin (collindales ) another Game Changer from four years ago. These two were Freshmen when they attended Game Changers first Leadership Combine, and now they are graduating Seniors. David, going to the University of Akron, majoring in Information Technology and Colin will be attending Youngstown State University majoring in Nursing! Congrats Gentlemen!!! 🙌🏽 .
