Elizabeth Krueger's space in the showhouse could only be described as an area of true transformation. Elizabeth and her team took an often overlooked and stripped down space, a garage, and turned it into an inviting, light, and serene environment. The “She Shed” was a creative oasis that one could escape to and find inspiration and rejuvenation. The first step in elevating this space was to strip away some of the original finishes, which included making the cinder block “disappear” and painting the walls and ceiling. By embracing certain aspects of the existing elements, such as the wood panels, their vision had an inherent character and softness that evoked both the old and new.
