$50k challenge If I talk it, I walk it! I’m giving 50k to this urgent need that “Chicago Delivers” is fulfilling. Now I don’t post for pats on the back, compliments or notoriety but I do want to challenge my peers in these unprecedented times with a 50k giving challenge! We’ve been blessed beyond measure and the time is now to bless others! There is a large disparity in the mortality rate of black and brown people who contract COVID-19 nation wide but more specifically here in Chicago’s south and west side. The reason is because people on government assistance (food stamps/EBT) can’t order their groceries through delivery services to their homes and therefore have to go to the stores where there’s heavy foot traffic and put themselves at a higher risk of contracting the virus. Also families are at an even higher risk if they live in a (food desert) area because they’ll have to take public transportation just to get to the grocery store. “Chicago Delivers” has a solution to this urgen...
