I’ll be totally honest, it’s been really discouraging and frustrating, especially after having so many encouraging signs on Monday after my membrane sweep. It triggered both my bloody show and lots of contractions that night and I was excited that things might be moving along, but sure enough I woke up yesterday feeling perfectly normal 🙄 • I’ve been feeling a LOT of pressure lately. Everyone and their mom asking if I’ve had the baby yet or if I’m in labor and having to tell them no makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong, or that my body isn’t working properly (even though my due date isn’t until tomorrow lol). I have to keep reminding myself that babies come when they’re ready, and that even though my body might seem ready (3cm dilated, 75% effaced), that’s just not how labor always works. My doctor says I’d be a good candidate for induction if that’s what I want, and that by next Thursda...
