One of the earliest lessons I learned from football was how the field could bring us together across divides and differences, and how important that was. Out there it didn’t matter where you were from or what you believed in, we were a team. A family. And that meant something. Nowadays in my work with Desirestreet I find myself seeking out those same differences. My life has been invaluably enriched by friendships with those who see things differently, and have a different perspective and experience than my own.
