As some of the old timers seated in the corner by the training room at St. Rose HS used to say, “You need to pick up Jerome Hubbard before he crosses the Route 35 bridge into Belmar” The JSBL All Time Leading 3 point maker was a headache for defenses, but an absolute pleasure to watch and interact with every summer. We laughed during his “Welcome to the JSBL” story about Horace Jenkins. We tried our best not to cry during his heartfelt moment about his old coach and our old commissioner and friend, Neptune legend Ken O’Donnell. Thank you for making the 55th championship game and ceremony, Hubb.
