Teachers, let’s be real for a minute. Our transition to distance learning has come with its bumps and bruises. Facilitating online learning can be challenging. It has been difficult to get all our students on board and stay connected with them. We wish we could be offering so much more to our kids during this time, yet we may feel limited in our ability to do so. This time is not easy. It’s not easy for anyone. Yet we continue to work all the same, and I am here saying to you today: you are enough. You are doing the best you possibly can with the resources you have at your disposal, and that is enough. You continue to fight through the daily challenges and barriers to learning as this pandemic develops, and you’ll continue to do so. It’s hard to not beat ourselves up during this time because we want so badly to be there for students.
