#TBT to around 1972 when the #FrancesSearleBuilding was dedicated. Architects from the firm of Walter E. Netsch began work on the structure in 1967 atop a landfill. The modular building greatly enhanced the clinical, research, and teaching capabilities for what was then the Department of Communicative Disorders (now the Roxelyn and Richard Pepper Dept. of Communication Sciences and Disorders).
