Meet our May 2024 banner bearer, Jade Montano, a finance and accounting major with a certificate in data analytics! Each semester, this title is awarded to a student who embodies the values of our college by excelling academically, participating in extracurriculars and displaying professionalism. Two standout aspects of Rawls College for Montano were the strong sense of community among students and faculty, as well as the abundance of opportunities and resources available to students, including various organizations and a dedicated career management center. What she'll miss most about Rawls College is the sense of community, where she's guaranteed to run into familiar faces every day, fostering a sense of belonging and a feeling of home. Montano will lead her fellow classmates into the commencement ceremony next weekend. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school to pursue a Master of Accounting in Valuation.
