NAZ WORKOUT OF THE WEEK: Sets of 2k/1k with the 2k at Lactate Threshold Pace and the 1k at 5k race pace. Two minutes rest between each 2k and 1k and a 400 jog between sets.

@masai_alex do this session last week in preparation for the
@wharftowharf 6 mile on July 24. For Wesley and Alex, the prescribed paces were 6:00 for the 2ks and 2:40 for the 1ks. The 2ks, because of their duration, were converted to account for the altitude in Flagstaff (7,000ft) but the 1ks were kept pretty close to sea level 5k race pace (13:20 rhythm). They nailed it!!
HOW TO DO IT YOURSELF: This is a great workout for those of you training for just about any distance from 1,500 meters to the marathon.
