MID-MAJOR MONDAY: “Landon Bussie led Alcorn State to a regular-season title last season, and he's got the Braves 10-2 and in first place in the SWAC. Bussie has done a terrific job in his three seasons as head coach. He was previously an men's assistant at Prairie View A&M and also spent one season as an assistant for the women's team. "We only had one player who went in the portal," Bussie told me. "We brought back nine guys, so we already had the chemistry, and these guys really wanted to get to the NCAA tournament after losing in the conference tournament last year." Bussie said he absolutely loves the toughness and togetherness of this group, which has 8 guys all getting between 22 and 31 minutes per game.” 🤝🏾🤝🏾 - @goodmanhoops via twitter
